Understanding Your Bill: Transparent & Simple

Find clear, step-by-step information on emergency room billing, insurance, payment options, and financial assistance. We’re here to make the process as stress-free as possible.

Understanding Your Bill

At Ally Medical, we are committed to providing clear and concise billing statements. Your bill will include a detailed description of services provided, the cost of each service, any insurance payments or adjustments, and your cost share for each service. If you have any questions about your bill, our customer service team is here to help. We offer multiple payment options to accommodate your needs.

Insurance and Transparency

Although Ally Medical is out of network with all insurance carriers, we welcome and work with all insurance except for government-funded plans. In Texas, your insurance provider must cover your emergency room visit at in-network benefits, regardless of the facility you choose. We will work with your insurance provider to ensure you receive the maximum benefits available to you. Please provide your insurance information at the time of service. Our billing team will handle the submission of claims to your insurance company. If there are any issues with your claim, we will contact you to resolve them.

What to Expect After Your Visit

After your visit to Ally Medical, you can expect a clear and straightforward billing process. We will bill two separate claims: one for facility utilization and one for professional services. Following your visit, we will submit claims to your insurance provider. Once your insurance finalizes the claim, you may receive an Explanation of Benefits from them. It is important to understand that the EOB is not a bill from Ally Medical. It is a document from your insurance carrier that explains what they have covered. Typically, EOBs do not apply in-network adjustments, so the amounts listed may not reflect your final responsibility.

We kindly request that you wait to receive an official statement from Ally Medical. This statement will provide the accurate amount you owe, considering any payments and adjustments from your insurance. Once you receive the statement, please utilize our online payment service, or contact our billing advocate team. They will be happy to discuss the available payment options.
