It’s Christmas time, and the family is enthralled with the daily visits from the Elf on the Shelf, sent by Santa Claus himself, dropping in from the North Pole to report naughty and nice behavior.

Although an Elf’s visit can be quite fun, medical professionals at Ally Medical have discovered a new strain of Reindeer Influenza that you should be aware of.

Symptoms include:

  • Forgetfulness or trouble communicating travel plans resulting in a failure to relocate overnight
  • Temporary loss of magic as Elf was touched by a child too young to understand the rules resulting in other children fearing his powers have been lost for good
  • Minor injuries as Elf was engaged in rough play by a child risking the rules resulting in other children fearing for his health

As you likely have experienced, your kids will most certainly be the first to spot the symptoms of Reindeer Flu before you have a chance to. Download the doctor’s note below to keep on hand in case any signs of Reindeer Flu hit your household!
